Past eventRote Playoffs Hackathon
A week-long online hackathon for Modiqo's Rote: developers built reusable AI agent workflows, called Plays, that other people could actually pick up and run.

Client & challenge
Modiqo builds Rote, a platform for turning AI agent work into Plays: reusable, inspectable workflows that solve a repeated task.
A new workflow primitive only spreads when developers build with it. Modiqo needed builders to ship real Plays, not demos, and needed people to see them.
Theme & prizes
Build a Play that runs, and make it clear enough that someone who didn't build it can pick it up and trust it.
- It works: the Play runs end to end
- It's clear: a non-builder can understand and trust it
- It gets used: real adoption beyond the author
